Sun always shines in Peaselake

In the week before i was due to lead a Peaselake ride i decided to go out on a recce ride to check i new where i was going.

With a few wrong turns i found a route and put it in the memory bank ready for the weekend ahead.

Arriving early at the carpark Gwyn and Aled were ready and waiting followed closely by Mike C who had ridden in. Slowly but surely more riders arrived.

Heading of in an upward direction enjoying the summer sun there was talk of an Indian summer, we'll see.

Sort of remembering where i was going, i managed to lead the group down a few trail's finding our way down to the village by good old Barrys.

At a fair old pace we climbed to the top of Pitch hill then down captain clunk to Carpark 3 were we stopped to watch Aled jump his bike over a drainage ditch showing us how it's done.

Making our way over to Winterfold we got as far as the road climb by flytipper where again Aled demonstrated how to ride all the gap jumps with effortless style to the envy of us all.

Heading back towards tea, George J who had been having trouble with his brakes all morning decided to try using his cheeks and elbows. Leaving him looking like he had fought 10 rounds with Tyson as he and his dad rolled in to tea.

Climbing back up on to Holmbury Simon and George decided it was time to roll back to the carpark fora much deserved  early bath , the rest of us went on to ride down Yoghurt Pots and Crackpipe which just about finished of Matt S's plastic bike and then on to the second half of telegraph in to Diet Mutiny and Logans Run. All in all a great ride with GREAT company.
