Friston with Lee T

The week running up to Lee's ride was filled with glorious weather which had me looking forward to the up coming ride, as in the dry Friston offers some of the best trails around.

Leaving home in the Drizzle i felt like the british summer had let me down again. then getting clocked in a police speed check area wasnt making for a very good start to the day.Arriving in Friston the drizzle had gone and the sun was fighting back. Ten of us climbed to the top and Lee led us in to the first trail which turned out to be fast and dry. New rider Matt had the first of the days many mechanical's, but back on the trails and straight in to a trail named frame snapper, for good reason. A tough trail at either high speed or lower speed but fun just the same.

Lee led us down several other trails finaly finding our way back to the carpark. By this point the sun was fully out and the temperature was up. Some of us decided to go up to the top for one more run, which turned out to be like a flat out race from top to bottom. Suitably tired we all agreed what a great day's riding it had turned out to be.
