Bunt's Punt Shunts the Handicap Competition

The weather had been horrid so a reduced field showed up at Horne... and indeed the conditions weren't great for anyone. However, one star did emerge...

The scratch winner on the night with a 21:00 dead was Ray who is gently nudging that 20 minute mark and looking guided-missile good at the moment. Andrew and Steve both recorded good times but were knocked back a little by the headwinds and rain-heavy air.

Neighbouring chairman, Maruc Brueton of Norwood Paragon came close to the magic sub-20 and did so on a road bike (albeit a very nice one).

The star of the night was however our own Stuart Bunt. He is wracking up some considerable miles not least with the recent Le Mans oddyssey... and his time is testament. He shaved a full 38 seconds off his handicap time to win it by a country mile.
