Eight of us battled against a blustery wind to Wisborough Green, to find the Old Mill Cafe closed! Fortunately Fishers Farm Park is only 1/2 mile up the road. We arrived just in time. Shortly after we had settled down with teas, coffees, bacon baps, etc., a large group (at least 20!!) from Twickenham CC arrived followed 10 minutes later by another half dozen from a club I did not recognise. When we got up to leave, there was still a long queue ordering food.
The wind was now on our backs. As I had forgotten to take a photograph at the tea stop (as usual), we stopped by the pond on Weare Street.
Nothing to report except an enjoyable ride in good company. We welcomed, Kevin Smith, a guest rider from Team Cake; Michelle learnt the skiing uses different muscles to cycling and the ducks discovered that cyclsts do not carry bits of bread.
