Four of us set off this Saturday in the growing June sunshine heading for The Velo House in Tunbridge Wells.
Thanks to a great Sharon H route and weather to match, we looked set for a glorious ride as we made our way through Horne, Blindley Heath and on through Edenbridge.
Kimberley suggested we stop as we passed our route benefactors house to say hi and see if she fancied joining us. After a couple of knocks on the door Sharon emerged at the top window to be greeted by four Redhill-ers. Sharon politely declined our invitation though as she had a much better offer, flying out very shortly to Marrakech!
Undeterred we wished Sharon a safe trip and set off zipping through Bough Beech, Charcott and then on to our stop.
After some refreshment and much drooling over the bike related fabulousness in the shop we were homeward bound, climbing up to Pendlehurst then on to Chiddingstone Hoath, Lingfield and back at the Drome, fully satisfied with a great route and great company.
