Slippy! Or slidey?

There were 19 eager faces to greet me in the Reigate Hill car park.  After persuading Phil C that it was far better to jam his broken dropper in the "up" position rather than miss my ride we headed off in the direction of Headly and Secret Singletrack.  A short(ish) trudge through the mud brought us to the first of three descents down Mickleham Downs, White Honky.  The early jump caught a few out and I hear that some members of the group (ehem) were found to be hugging the trees instead of riding round them - more practice needed!

Some harbored hopes of an early tea stop but that would be too easy.  To the sounds of much complaint we headed back up Juniper for descent number 2, Tactical Nuclear Penguin.  I was on photo duty this time but once again it seems I need to hone my skills before I am published.  Next up, and another questionable name, brought us to Tank Slapper followed by a quick whiz up Norbury Park, startling some deer in the process and down Infestation to Bocketts for a slightly later than normal tea stop.

A rather disjointed group made their way home with Mat and Ollie held back with some serious mechanical issues but all home safely eventually .

Thanks to Mat for being chief photographer and to Dave for back marking.
