The Fantastic Four

Maybe the early cold and foggy conditions put people off or maybe it was the prospect of 41 miles and 5000 ft of climbing? Either way, the fog soon cleared, the Sun came out and the conditions were absolutely perfect for South Downs riding.

Julian, Monyka and Ricardo made up the four. We took a figure of eight loop heading first onto the Wessex way towards Arundel before looping north to pick up the South Downs way back, tackling the hills of Amberley, Washington and Truleigh back to Devils Dyke.

Even with 3 punctures with such a strong group we made good time and were back by 2.40
