Few takers for a llama

After Saturday's crowds, only four riders turned up for the Sunday ride. I am sure that the quality made up for teh lack of numbers!

We headed for llama Land via Ardingly where we tried out the new variation on the Redhill Rollercoaster Sportive. We took College Road to Lindfield and then a series of small lanes to reach Chelwood Gate. The additional loop for the Sportive is to avoid a road race taking part on the same day. It is suitably lumpy and takes in some attractive lanes.

After refreshing our selves at Llama World at Wych Cross, we headed back via Hartwood, Mark Beech. Four Elms and Hurst Green. 

66 miles Drome to Drome at a steady average of 14 mph with 2800 ft of climbing.
