Seven of us set off from Rykas. We took the slightly longer route along the A24 cycle path to warm up, across Norbury Park, past Bocketts and across to Polesden Lacey where we had puncture number one. About 200m further on we had puncture 2 and then 800m further up on the long flint track we had puncture 3. Fortunately there were no more during the ride.
Along the Drove road and on to Newlands corner. It was a great sunny day and the ground was drying out but there were still deep puddles in places. We returned via the Drove road and along the Ranmore road, down through Denbies and back to our start point at about 1.30 having covered 24 miles.
