The gathering of the clans...

All in all, it turned into a cracking ride with not a drop of rain falling on the group and even sunshine at times despite the gloomy forecast.

The standard G3'ers recorded an average near 16mph for the trip with plenty of fit riders happy to take on hills and flats with enthusiasm. The route was the leafy Hammerponds, Slaugham, Staplefield route... and even after all these years as a staple, still a lovely ride. Enjoy particularly by Phil G who had somehow managed not to do it yet.

Thanks to everyone for great riding and for keeping up during some quick sections when those on the front were stretching their legs.
