Glorious Autumn

An accident on the A3 caused a delayed start to Saturdays ride. Setting off 20 minutes late, we had time to make up if we were to keep our appointment with the Punch Bowl Cafe at Hindhead.

Thankfully the conditions were perfect. The trails were fast and dry, with a covering of autumn leaves for seasonal effect.

Keeping up a good pace with excellent corner marking from the group got us to the tea stop bang on time.

The descent from the Devils Punch Bowl is a great mix of loose rocks, gully’s and roots. Some riders made the drop offs look easy, some looked less composed!

Back at 1pm.  8.6mph average moving speed.
