Not so steady to Washbrooks Farm

Nine riders at the Drome, including Nick, a newcomer to the Sunday Steady. After assuring him that it was a steady ride well within his capabilities, the group set off at a steafy 19-20 mph. Nick hung on and the pace soon slowed after Faygate, when we climbed the first hill. !

On the way down, Charl stopped for a mechanical and, later, Calvin picked up a flat. In both cases, the rest of us pushed on while Bruce stopped to lend asistance and to bring them up to us again.

The return via Anstey went without incident arriving back by 1:30, having covered about 60 miles at about 16 mph. And Nick survived - hope to see you on a Sunday again.
