Ray Sullivan rode out to compete in the men's TT category while Michelle Arthurs competed in the womens road, due to it being a Londons Women's Cycle Racing League event.
The Gods blessed the event with glorious sunshine, deer and birds aplenty. Indeed Michelle guillotined a pigeon mid-ride with the spokes in her low-profile front wheel. Had a carbon deep section been used, a life may have been saved. RIP Percy pigeon.
There was a high standard of competition and both Ray (27:09) and Michelle (31:39) recorded respectable times for the sporting 10.4 mile course, whilst I quietely consumed a bacon bap.
