Cold and windy to the Lavender Line

"This is a lumpy ride, Mike". No-one dosagreed. We have 3/4 way to Isfield with only 3 more lumps tp go.

Twekve brave souls gathered at the Drome. Three turned back at Turners Hill - family duties calling. We ;ost Bruce after 20 miles when he turned off at Danehill. The remaining eight were greeted with a blazing open fire in the Station Cafe.

Suitably refreshed, we ventured out into the cold again. Helen Saunders had joined us at the cafe; her son gratefully accepted a lift home. The rest of us braved the north wind on a slightly less lumpy route home.
