FORGET Hale and Pace, Laurel and Hardy, Batman and Robin, a new duo are on the scene by the name of Webb and Clifton. Sixty Four people were in thrall to the dynamic pair as they double acted their way through the glittering event of the year at the Bridge House Hotel Reigate, presenting the top RCC riders with their trophies. With slides, and contributions from MTB man Mat Swan, Racing ace Phil Jemmison and top road man Steve Taylor being ably assisted by our star guest past MTB 24 hour champion and future competitor at Paralympics 2016 Anne Dickens, our MC Adrian kept things buzzing. Charl Jordaan took the lions share of trophies collecting no less than seven. Technology was employed when presenting the Ladies champion cup, Michelle Arthurs who was in a pub somewhere in England contacted live by Adrian on his beloved Iphone to be congratulated on her win. Indeed congratulations go to ALL our cup and trophy winners with a special mention to the most improved G riders, thanks go to Brian Costello for sponsoring and presenting these. Jeanette Worster presented the new TT scratchwinners trophy the ceremonial part was ended by our president John Eglinton thanking all and sundry but especially Adrian and Geoff for sorting the trophies.
