Driving through the billion(s) dollar A3 tunnel thinking was anyone going to turn up - what with a second mtb ride listed for today.
No need to entertain such thoughts as a posse of riders were fuelling up on caffeine and warming up with the Autumn sunshine, before heading of on the 30m loop circumnavigating Haslemere.

Wont bore you with a list of directions taken, just to say there was a quality mix of rocks, logs, roots, grassland, loam, tarmac, steep, tight, fast and techy trails. Mostly hidden under crunchy fallen vegetation so skills were needed almost to the point of spiritual insight to avoid hidden obstacles.

A comedy OTB moment, a few unintended dismounts, a bail out all added to the flavour as the ups and downs flowed along.

It's all about being outside and enjoying the beautiful local area come rain or shine.
