A slightly shorter, hilly-er G2 was on offer for today's ride,not withstanding this five brave souls elected to have a go.

For a change G2 headed North East up Coopers Hill to Nutfield, through Merstham and back  to Bletchingley via Brewer St. From there Rabies Heath Road took us to Tilburtstow Hill, followed by a rapid descent of the Interdent and a climb past Godstone Church and through Marden Park to ' posh' Knights at Woldingham.

From there  up the hill to Woldingham proper to admire the views from the ridge followed by the plunge down Flower Lane and back home via Blindley heath, Smallfield  and South Nutfield.

Distance was 35 miles dead, total ascent was a tad over 2000 feet.

These  rides will be good preparation for G3 and beyond. Join me on the next one.
