Well I am afraid it is. As the evenings draw in and thoughts of end of season rides on the last few weekends of warmth this year a good field of riders contested the final TT of the year.
The evening was a good one for racing and Chris Batch took full advantage of his year of steady improvement to take the club scratch points, just behind the winning ride of Simon Hazeldine (Norwood Paragon). Rupert Burbidge however was not to be denied the annual overall win.
Alan Miles, persevering with his fixie found an end of season peak sufficient to win this week's handicap competition and challenge for the year long overall prize. He equalled Rick Gregory on points but Rick had 2 overall wins to Alan's 1 so by a hair's breadth the trophy will go to Rick.
