A dozen  riders took part in the  Saturday G1, Mrs G came along to keep an eye on me ,just as well as we men were outnumbered 2 to 1 by the fairer sex.

Francis from Bergerac was on his first ride, as were a couple of Sarah's and Cynthia, all eager to join the club.

New members Bryan and Heidi Strapp and Kimberley  together with Kathleen Neal not  riding with dad  today  and Richard made up the numbers together with occasional visits from Graham.

For so called beginners their road manners were  immaculate, whenever I looked over my shoulder there was a nice tidy line of riders. Usual route to Tanhouse via Leigh and Parkgate made a ride of 26 miles.
