The morning started early with Brian arriving to put up the 'G' signs. That took about five minutes so then a number of us took advantage of the wonderful facilities on offer. A fully featured cafe open every day of the year apart from Christmas from 7am in the morning. Loos.. yes, an added convenience for early gathering.... and quiet roads on tap. 

Thanks to everyone who turned out.

A few tips for next week. We'll be gathering socially from around 8am onwards in or near the cafe then heading up to the meeting/leaving car park at 8.50am. At 9am everyone should gather next to the appropriate ride sign so that all Ride Leaders know how many (and who) are on their rides. 

Please remember that this is a working airport and that we are guest and extremely lucky (and appreciative) to be able to meet at such a great venue.

Finally, rumours that we are looking for a rich and cycling-mad benefactor to buy us one of the large buildings alongside the meet point as a club house are not exaggerated... if you know anyone who fits that description, point them in my direction.
