Riding out from Gomshall to Peaslake, there was a strange lack of rain / snow / hail, and our wheels seemed to roll over the ground rather than just sinking into it. These unusual conditions filled the group with energy, and had us cycling straight through Peaslake and on up to Leith Hill before needing to stop for cakes.
On the way back, Matt even successfully descended Deliverance on his rigid singlespeed, a feat probably only ever attempted by a few and achieved by far less. Summer lightening really did ride like lightening, and the route back to Gomshall was almost dusty dry. Riders are strongly advised to look out for future sightings!
