Graham Brash was Last seen on a sunny day in August, complaining it was starting to get cold and showing concern for the odd small puddle effecting his cornering.Signs were there that something was wrong as last year he'd swapped his full Sus bang on trail bike for a hard tail from Halfords We'd heard a rumour that Graham is hanging around the lanes of Surrey so we set off to see if we could find him. A little late due to some mechanicals being sorted in the car park, we headed straight up to Ranmore, getting warmed up as promised. No sign of him. We headed straight back down towards Abinger Bottom picking up Mat, late as expected,(who accepted the offer of a cup of tea from the kind lady in the farm house as he waited in the cold - Bless um) Back up towards Holmbury YHA where Graham could often be found in the summer months tearing down Telegraph Hill. No Sign. We'd already picked up some punctures and gear agro on the way. My turn as the chain snapped. Thankfully, the troops gathered to assist me with my plight - thanks everyone. Graham alway used to help in these situations, but he wasn't there in my time of need. We headed off to ask Barry if he'd seen him, he did'nt know but he guided us down to Peaselake for the Cheesey treats that Graham loves so much. Not there! We mustered up the strength to get up Pitch hill and blasted down Winterfold wood towards Shere and across to the start point at Gomshall. Gareth disappeared of in many directions many times on his shiny new racing steed in the hunt, but no joy What a treat he missed, if the air was a tad fresh the trails are in great nick! 'R' Lee gallantly stayed at the back all day - just in case We will have a better look for him next week
