A small but perfectly formed group managed to look young on Sunday as 6 of us followed the route of the annual veteran car run from Redhill to Cuckfield on Sunday
Following these grand old vehicles allowed the group of grand old men (not Dave and Dom obviously) to ride on a road with an average traffic speed below 20mph, with patient motorists and endless collectors vehicles parked at the side of the road to watch the cars go by.
The weather was beautiful and a following wind meant the first 20 miles were completed in no time.
We then rode back through Warninglid, Cowfold and Newdigate completing over 50 miles at a steady 16.4mph for a really super morning out..
Next time the weather is like this I will be offering a nice flat century ride to anyone interested....
