A great night ride was had by a grand total of two of us on Tuesday. As I was just about to head home Alex turned up so the ride was on! It was great night ride, not too cold and reasonable winter trail conditions. We roamed around Headley Common with Alex using his light to scour the trees for any small trails or gaps between trees, once found off we would go –lots of lovely windy trails with the odd obstacle and hidden slippery root to keep us on our toes. We found our way over to Lower Kingwood and Gatton Park where we cycled through the woods and along one or two trails where the mud was a bit slippy and you could feel your back tyre spin as it tried to get traction. We returned via some fields and more winding single track right to the door of the pub. A perfect evening rounded off with a drink and some chips. Thanks Alex for being an excellent guide
