Well the clocks went back, so the night ride definitely starts in the dark now, also the weather was kind to us after a two week break. Four of us turned out this week for a nice muddy ride across to Walton, down Smokers hill - great at night, then along Stain Street. We turned right at the crossroads and back up to Headly Heath, I thought John might have had a go a the bomb holes, clearly he was being sensible still thinking of a bigger drop perhaps. Another great descent, making it through the bogs at the bottom and back across Walton heath to the pub where Helen joined us for a drink.
