Last week was momentous, with the finish of the Tour de France a glorious moment for Mark Cavendish AND British cycling. That Bradley Wiggins was fourth was simply spectacular. The text messages I received suggest most Redhill people were jumping up and down in their seats watching the action. Sorry I haven't got a photo of our heroes; best I can do is this one I took of Lance winning in Paris in 2004!
Redhill's week was patchy...Tuesday's 'Dog & Duck' social ride was great fun, we had a wide range of riders, doing circuits around the lanes at all speeds. Wednesday's TT was a washout and cancelled. Last night's Surrey League Race...waiting for results!
