THIRTY FIVE make Brighton in record time!

What a great day for Redhill! THIRTY FIVE of us met at 7am in Nutfield, then left in three separate groups for the 37 mile dash to Brighton on closed, car free roads. Mile after mile we overtook pretty well all other riders and clubs, we were red & white streak through Lindfield and Ditchling, where the three groups started coming together. Even Ditchling Beacon wasn't so bad and all Redhill riders made it to The Angel statue in Hove, without incident and looking very happy.

Our very own Maria Balbi (accidentally) made it onto the news as the first female to cross the finish line!

The ride home wasn't so good, however. PLEASE remember... 1) Always follow the leader. 2) Don't belt off on your own unless you tell people what you are doing. 3) Keep an eye on the people at the back. 4) Look after the ladies and 5) if someone gets a puncture, we stop. Next time we will have a better plan!

We collected £165 to send to the BHF as our contribution and overall, this was a great day for the club.
