Course record for Brueton !

In another good evening of time trialing action, Marcus Brueton (Norwood Paragon) won and scorched round in what is believed to be a new record for the Horne Course (20-35). Second place went to young Henry James (In-gear) in an excellent 21-10, just ahead of Jon Masters (Redhill CC) 21-20 and his dad Paul James (Norwood Paragon) 21-22.

It was particularly pleasing to see so many new riders at what is the last club TT of the year, with 28 starting under reasonable weather conditions.

Also spotted on the night and very welcome was National time trial star Ben Instone (A3CRG), maybe he will ride a future event and test the new record ?

On the handicap front Denis Worster is crowned as 2008 Handicap Champion after another consistent improvement on the night and I am sure everyone will join me in congratulating a popular and worthy winner.
