A club run and fast training ride...

Hard proof at last that our Sunday Club Rides are NOT necessarily an amble in the countryside; Rory and Ev led a number of leg burning charges up the big hills with many in their wake.

Mike Ormerod led a delightful route through sleepy lanes, ten riders at the start, heading for Glynde. Around Chelwood Gate, five of us, needing to be back early, peeled off. A quick refreshment stop then the fun started, Rory again piling on the pressure, Sarah, Stuart, Graham and myself trying to stay on his wheel...and making a pretty good job of it! The fast descent on Ashdown Forest was awesome and there was no let up all the way home. Must have been one of the fastest 50 miles we've done this year. Sorry have to use this old photo of Trevor Chilman, my camera seems to have died...but it shows the spirit of Redhill!!
