The start location is Fourwents pond, Holmwood. There are two free National Trust car parks at Fourwents Pond, we will start from the larger of the two which adjoins Blackbrook Road . Driving south down the A24 from Dorking, just past the South Holmwood sign, turn left to Leigh/Brockhurst along Mill Road and drive to down the crossroads at the bottom of the road where you’ll see the pond on your left. Turn left onto Blackbrook Road and then the main car park is immediately on your left. OS map reference is 146 ref 183 452). There is a car park on Mill Road if we run out of room.

There are several cruel hills on the menu but you’ll get a good work out, and the pain of those climbs will be well rewarded with the finest sweet singletrack Surrey can offer. Our tea stop destination will be Peaslake.
