The next RCC weekend away will be on Friday 16 to Sunday 18 July 2010. There will be off road rides on natural trails organised for Friday afternoon, Saturday, and Sunday morning.

We have booked a camping barn for 10 people at the Plume of Feathers, Princetown. They also have a campsite, and B&B accommodation available. You can contact them directly on 01822 890240 if you want to camp or stay in the B&B.

The rides will consist of:

Friday - A 20km ride through Bellever Forest, including a few river crossings and 440m of climbing. The starting point will be at Postbridge, a few miles NE from Princetown.

Saturday - A 35km ride taking in North Bovey and Hound Tor, with 950m of climbing. The starting point will be at North Bovey, a few miles NE of Postbridge.

Sunday – A slightly easier 21km loop over to Burrator Reservoir. It has 250m of climbing and starts from Princetown.

The cost of the camping barn accommodation is £22.50 per person for the two nights (Friday + Saturday). Food is not included in the price, but breakfast is available for a bit extra.
